Coffee shop POS decisions are often shaped by hardware and payment costs as much as software. Ask which terminals, printers, cash drawers, routers, customer displays, and backup options are required for your counter setup.

Test the rush workflow. Ring up drinks with modifiers, apply a discount, split payment, issue a refund, close a shift, and review item sales. Staff should be able to complete common orders quickly without manager intervention.

Compare payment processing by your real card mix and transaction size. A low subscription can become expensive if processing, hardware rental, implementation, or contract terms do not fit the shop.
