A grooming salon needs more than a calendar. Test whether the software keeps owner records, pet profiles, grooming notes, breed or coat details, appointment history, reminders, deposits, payments, and rebooking in one usable workflow.

Run a real scenario with a returning customer who has two pets and different service durations. Reschedule one appointment, add a note, process payment, and book the next visit. If staff must use workarounds, the system may become harder to maintain as volume grows.

Ask how pricing changes by staff member, calendar, location, van, or module. Confirm SMS limits, payment fees, onboarding, data migration, and whether mobile grooming workflows require a different plan.
